Our story
Soley was founded in 2015 as a spin-off from the Institute of Product Development at the Technical University of Munich. It was there that the first prototype encountered the unresolved questions of everyday industrial practice.
The four founders, mechanical engineers and computer scientists, quickly recognized that this technology had the potential to fundamentally revolutionize the way complexity is handled. Finding a solution to manage complex data quickly and efficiently in highly interconnected fields like product development and product management became the driving force. Enthusiasm turned into execution, and it soon became clear that Soley was the future.
In 2022, under the new leadership of Alexander Springer, Soley established Product Mining as a software category of its own. Soley remains the market leader in this field today, having not only shaped the category but expanded its use cases across the entire value chain.

Alexander Springer
Alexander Springer has led Soley's strategic development and growth as CEO since the beginning of 2022. With more than 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur and thought leader in the software market, including founding and scaling an internationally leading B2B software company, he brings deep expertise in SaaS solutions. At Soley he owns the company's overall strategy, applying his long-standing leadership experience to advance market positioning and secure sustainable international growth.
Ephraim Triemer
As Chief Product Officer, Ephraim Triemer leads Soley's product vision and technological development. With more than 20 years of experience as an expert in digital transformation, he brings deep expertise from a range of leadership and advisory roles in the software industry. At Soley he owns the strategic direction of the product portfolio, applying his passion for technological innovation to drive sustainable company growth and establish future-proof software solutions.
